Study Hall will provide a dedicated, structured space for registered student-athletes to complete schoolwork and receive academic support in a productive environment.

From 2:00–4:30 PM every Tuesday and Wednesday, the classroom will be open to student-athletes who register to attend. Students may use this time to complete homework, projects, study for upcoming exams or quizzes, catch up on assignments, college recruiting and work on other academic responsibilities.

Education Coordinator AJ Monarrez along with another Academy staff, will be available during Study Hall to assist and support student-athletes with their academic needs. Students will have access to a quiet workspace, available laptops and other resources to help them successfully complete their work. Students are also encouraged to bring their own laptops, school materials, textbooks, chargers, and any other necessary items needed to complete their work.

Study Hall Expectations

To create a college-like study environment, all student-athletes are expected to:

  • Stay on task and use Study Hall time productively.
  • Come prepared with schoolwork, assignments, projects, or materials they need to complete.
  • Bring their own laptop, charger, textbooks, notebooks, or other necessary school supplies when needed.
  • Respect other student-athletes who are using the space to study and complete their own work.
  • Maintain a quiet and focused environment that allows everyone to concentrate.
  • Use classroom technology and resources appropriately.
  • Ask for assistance when needed and take advantage of the academic support available.
  • Clean up their workspace and leave the classroom ready for the next student.

The goal of Study Hall is to provide student-athletes with a college-like academic environment where they can come in, focus, get their work done, and receive support when needed. We will develop students time-management, organization, study habits, independence, and academic responsibility.

Locker Room & Refrigerator Access

Student-athletes will be able to use the locker rooms to change before designated workouts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

If you would like to use a locker, you are welcome to bring your own lock to secure your belongings. Please remember to take your lock and personal items with you when you leave.

A refrigerator will also be available for student-athletes to store food and drinks during the day.
