The Major League Baseball Youth Academy - Compton is continuously recruiting qualified candidates to volunteer with various programs and events

To be considered for an Academy volunteer opportunity:

• You must complete an online volunteer registration for any of the following programs:
  
  • 2018 Dodgers RBI (On-Field, Score Keeping, General Administrative Duties)
  • BASEBALL (On-Field, Score Keeping, General Administrative Duties)
  • SOFTBALL (On-Field, Score Keeping, General Administrative Duties)
  • EDUCATION (Academic Tutoring and Homework Assistance)
  • General Volunteer Application (Community Events, Charitable Causes, Special Events, Snack Bar, Lunch Program)
• The online volunteer application will also include collecting information required to submit for a MLB background check such as: 
  • Full Legal Name
  • Residence Address
  • Date of Birth
  • Email Address
  • Photocopy of valid government issued ID
• In-person interview (If needed)

Completion of a volunteer program application does NOT automatically allow you to volunteer at the Academy

PLEASE DO NOT contact us regarding the status of your volunteer application as our volunteer needs, requirements and restrictions will change throughout the year.

Qualified volunteer applicants will be notified on an as-needed basis by an authorized Academy staff.
